Hi, I have the whole "School House Rock" collection on tape. You know, "I'm just a bill, sitting here on Capitol Hill," and "Conjunction Junction, What's Your Function?" Well, the adjective song is one of our favorites, and part of the refrain is, "Unpack Your Adjectives." Hi, Mitchell and Daddy accidentally flushed a momma dove off of her nest today. Otherwise, we wouldn't have known she was there. She was in a shrubbery about chest high, right by the front porch. There are two little babies in there. Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Hi, Mitchell has gotten more involved in playing Indian. Here he is with "moccasins," a "tomahawk" (the bottom of a golf club), a "knife" (the handle of the golf club), and a "feather hat." Happy Knitting! Lisa Kay

Hi, After frogging down to the armholes, adding two inches, and redoing the front (using large instructions with five repeats instead of four) and the back (adding one inch), it is done. It fits much better this time! Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Hi, For his first birthday, one of his great aunts gave him some pull-string ducks. They quack when you pull the string. I had some of these when I was little, but the wheel made the quacking instead of the string, so they didn't quack if they had turned over. Anyway, Mitchell has been pulling the ducks around a lot this week. He's better able to keep them upright, these days. Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Hi, I "finished" the Lotus Blossom Tank last Tuesday night, just before my trip. Unfortunately, it is heinously small. After taking the straps back apart and doing some measuring, I'm going to have to frog back to the armholes, add two inches before the armhole bind-offs, and one inch after the armhole bindoff. Wow! By the way, frogging means to "rip it, rip it, rip it out!" I considered pictures, but too revealing, and I'm also entirely too proud to show how terrible it looks. Luckily, I have a ball and a half of yarn left, so I should be able to fix it. Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Hi, I've finished the lace portion of the Lotus Blossom Tank, and I've got the plain part up to the armhole bindoffs. It should be rather quick now... (I hope!) I really like the Mulberry silk. It makes a rather heavy fabric, though. Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay
