Serious Pac Man

Hi, Sorry for the hiatus. We've been dealing with some family medical issues. Our little guy continues to grow and thrive, and he keeps us focused. Mitchell already latched on to Mommy's old-fashioned style video games (courtesy of Christmas gifts from Jack), and he likes Pac Man and Xevious. I probably should have held off on the video games, I suppose. Alas! Happy Knitting! Lisa Kay

Spumoni

Hi, During the last holiday season, I found this wonderful red-and-green and red-and-white roving from Zen Yarn Garden . I snapped it up and went about spinning yarns and designing something to make with it. Here's where I ended up: You can download the Spumoni pattern from Ravelry. Buy it here. ($5.00/Paypal) This is my first "not for free" pattern on Ravelry. I'll be interested to see how that goes! Happy Knitting! Lisa Kay

Happy Easter!

Hi, The Easter Bunny left some eggs inside an outside, some with toys, and some with M&M's or jelly beans. Mitchell enjoyed the egg hunt, and he wanted to find some more even after they were all found. One of the spots outside yielded two. (There is a blue one tucked behind the pink one, in his hand.) How exciting! Since we try to minimize candy, there were a few other interesting things in his basket, including a couple of coloring books, one with Nemo and "Color Wonder" pens, and one "Color and Smell" with Sponge Bob. I have to advise against the Sponge Bob "Color and Smell." When they said you would get to smell the Crusty Crab and the salty ocean, they weren't kidding. There are a couple of fruity or minty items, but most of them are fishy/yucky. Blech! It must be a boy thing. (Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails and all that.) Mitchell was very amused at how disgusted Mommy was. Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Covert TV Watching

Hi, Mitchell likes to hide out under the kitchen table. Here he is, watching TV. Happy Knitting! Lisa Kay
