Bow Boy

Hi,

Mitchell has a somewhat improvised bow, and he enjoys hunting things... usually Mommy or Daddy.

It is just an old plastic cup rack (I used it in my dorm room in college), with a piece of scrap yarn tied on it. (I don't have any yarn around here...)

Happy Knitting,

I love their little imaginations. My son has a section of our garden that he calls his race track and he takes his Lightning McQueen and Doc out there and plays. When Lightning goes in the weeds it is the "cactus patch".

Your socks look great. I am kind of intimidated by toe ups for some reason.

I found toe-up socks to be very easy, especially using Wendy Johnson's "Socks From The Toe Up." The instructions for the cast on were really easy to follow. I can't recommend this book enough!Once you have the cast on, it is simpler than top-down (my opinion). There's no "picking up" on the gusset. It just does ssk and p2tog to decrease up the sides of the gusset. Viola'!
Happy Knitting!
