When I got back from Las Vegas last week, I had a happy surprise waiting for me. My friend Ellen (Crazy For Ewe) sent me some St. Patrick's Day yarn! Thanks, Ellen!
I started a shamrock sock. I'll have to get a better picture of the pattern, later. My camera ran out of batteries after this picture, before I could do a close-up.
It is two yarnovers separated by a double decrease, then plain for a row, repeat. (The shamrocks also stagger... I guess they've been drinking green beer.) I'll put up a chart, later.

P.S. Grandpa E seems to be recovering nicely. He isn't eating yet. Very sore. Probably in the hospital until at least the weekend.
