River Crossing

Hi,

We picked up a new game on a book store trip. It is called, "River Crossing, A Perilous Plank Puzzle." The general idea is that you have to use three sizes of plank pieces to cross from one side of the river to the other, with a lot of rules about when you can use or move planks.

There are alligators, snakes, and piranhas in the water, so you have to keep your player on the planks and out of the water.

Mitchell seemed to be getting it, even though it says it is for ages 8 and up. Mitchell and Chris were playing the game in the kitchen, and I was knitting. They seemed to be having some grief, and I could hear a few comments here an there. Then I heard Mitchell say clearly, "Do you have a boat?"

Happy Knitting,
Lisa Kay
