I finished Nanook, by Heidi Kirrmaier, a couple of weeks ago, and I have been waiting for a day with enough light to take pictures.
I modified the pattern with the pattern edging at the bottom of the back and sleeves... ribbed in the pattern. Since the pattern edging, intended only for the collar of this top-down sweater, is directional (knitted starting at the edge, going inward), I had to work the cuff and hem first, and then graft to the sleeves and body.
The yarn is Hedgehog Fibres' Silk/Cashmere Worsted in the colorway "Opalite," which I special ordered, along with a matching skein of sock yarn. I've started the socks, with the same lace edging at the top.

Happy Knitting,

I started this blog to post pictures of my knitting and my son, and I am gradually transitioning into more quilting than knitting. Weaving and spinning also make occasional appearances. Whatever your fiber crafting passion, enjoy!
