I finished the first of the two Embossed Leaves socks (pattern and yarn in a previous post). I can see why so many folks have made this sock (2999 as of this writing, logged in Ravelry).
You can see how the leaves seem to continue into the toe, using decreases and a few purl stitches. It is a very clever pattern, and so easy to do. What a great combination of attributes! I have seen a few sweaters on Ravelry that seem to use the stitch pattern, but it doesn't seem quite as fantastic in larger gauge. Hmmm. I wonder about a shawl. Speaking of shawls, my dad just took pictures of the La Laz Scarf, today. I'll put those in the next post...
